Payment: Payment method is to be established prior to the trip. Green Light Limousine currently accepts all major credit cards. Chauffeurs are not authorized to apply or discount charges. All initial charges, fees and discounts are estimated on standard rates and fees. Additional charges for tolls, parking, stops after hour charges or wait time may be applicable. The rate quoted to you prior to your trip is an estimate solely based on information you provided to us at the time of your booking. No pricing is final until after your trip has been completed. We do not charge trips until after a client has already travelled with us. The only exception to this is for specialty vehicle rentals, which are charged prior to the event. 50% nonrefundable deposit is required on reservations for specialty vehicles. Rates are subject to change.
Personal Property: Neither Green Light Limousine nor its employees shall be held responsible for items left in vehicles by any passengers. We are also not responsible for damage to any personal items while in the vehicle. In the event that items are found in our vehicles after trips are taken, Green Light Limousine will make every effort to return said items in a timely manner. Any items found in vehicles are retained by us for 30 days. If you have left an item in our vehicle, kindly contact our offices to arrange for retrieving your forgotten property.
Cancellation Policy: The cancellation fee is equal to the total trip cost including gratuity and will be charged for cancellations made with less than two hours notice for all sedan trips in the tri state area. All out of state pickups require 4 hours notice. We require 7 days for specialty vehicles and 30 days for all buses.
No Show Charges: A no show fee equal to the total cost plus applicable wait time, tolls, parking and gratuity will be charged when passengers fail to show at the designated location for which the reservation has been made. If a customer cannot locate their driver it is the customer’s responsibility to call us nationwide at 866-304-7336. Our dispatch offices will be able to locate the chauffeur immediately and facilitate a meeting point. If a passenger leaves this designated meeting area no show fee will be charged.
Passenger Conduct: No alcohol may be consumed by anyone under the age of 21 in the vehicle. Violation of this policy is grounds for immediate termination of transportation without refund. No drugs or drug paraphernalia are allowed on board any of our vehicles. Violation of this policy is also grounds for termination of transportation without refund.
Additional Charges: Additional charges may include, where applicable, tolls, parking, international flight fees, waiting time, additional stop rates, renting or storing child safety seat fees, early morning or late night pickups, and holiday surcharges. Any travel between the hours of 12:00am and 5:00am is billed an additional $20.00. Wait charges are billed at $48.00 per hour. This excludes a 15 minute grace waiting period at locations other than airports. It also excludes a forty-five minute grace waiting period at the airport for domestic arrivals and an hour grace waiting period for international arrivals. We do not charge waiting time attributed to delayed flights for pickups at the airport. We offer an additional 2 hours waiting time for international flight arrivals for an optional $10.00 international surcharge. This allows for additional time that may be needed going through customs. If declined, after the hour grace waiting period, waiting time will start to accrue at $48.00 per hour. The following holidays will also incur an additional charge:
Travel on Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day & Christmas Eve after 8:00pm is subject to a $15.00 holiday surcharge.
Travel on July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve after 8:00pm and on New Year’s Day is subject to a $25.00 holiday surcharge.
Vehicle Liability and Responsibility: Client assumes full responsibility for any damage to the vehicle caused during the duration of the rental by them or any members of their party. Any damage caused by the customer or any member of the customer’s party that exceeds normal wear and tear of the vehicle Green Light has provided will be subject to fees based on the actual cost of replacement, repair or cleaning. Parents and guardians of children traveling in Green Light Limousine vehicles are responsible for installing child safety seats in accordance with state and federal law. Driver reserves the right to terminate any trip if passenger or chauffeur safety is at risk. Driver reserves the right to terminate any trip if he believes illegal activity is taking place aboard the vehicle.
Limitation of Liability: The company shall not be liable in any event or for any reason, including breach of this agreement, either directly or indirectly to the other party or any third party for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages or loss of profits arising out of this agreement, even if such damages were foreseeable or the company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. It is expressly agreed that the company shall not under any circumstances be liable to any party for any amount greater than the single fare fee for the day in question. The company shall not be held liable in the event of unforeseeable circumstances such as vehicle breakdowns, weather delays, road construction delays or flight delays or cancellations.
